Led by one of the few Board-Certified Pediatric Dentists in Japan. Our Director is a specialist in pediatric dentistry. As a “specialist in protecting children’s dental and oral health,” she brings extensive experience and advanced expertise. Since our opening, we have welcomed many children and helped them achieve healthy smiles. We provide thorough support from various angles for both the children and their guardians.

Cavity Prevention & Oral Growth Support from Infancy
While teething times vary, it is crucial to check the mouth and monitor oral functions from an early stage. For example, difficulty with nursing can sometimes be related to oral functional issues. Early awareness of cavity prevention is also a key factor for a child’s future health. We provide comprehensive care even for babies whose teeth have not yet emerged or have just begun to sprout.

Special Needs Dentistry: Care for children with disabilities
We welcome children who find it difficult to receive treatment at other clinics due to anxiety or behavioral challenges, as well as those with developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Asperger’s Syndrome, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, visual/hearing impairments, epilepsy, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy. The Director is a “Board-Certified Dentist for Persons with Disabilities” and gained extensive experience at specialized clinics. Please feel assured that your child will receive highly professional and compassionate care.

Gentle Pediatric Orthodontics: From age 3
Pediatric orthodontics is primarily performed during the transition from baby teeth to permanent teeth. For young children, we may recommend “removable plate appliances” to secure space and ensure permanent teeth grow in properly. We also offer options such as wire braces and clear aligners. Our specialists and certified orthodontists with extensive experience are available for consultations even when your child is still very young.

Emergency Dental Care, Trauma & Sports Mouthguards
We treat dental emergencies such as chipped, broken, or knocked-out teeth. While baby teeth eventually fall out, neglecting injuries can affect the permanent teeth underneath. For permanent teeth, we act quickly to restore or replant them whenever possible. We recommend immediate consultation following any injury. We also provide custom “Sports Mouthguards” for active children.

For Ages 0–2 Only: No Appointment Needed on Tuesday & Friday Mornings
To support parents of infants and toddlers (ages 0–2), we offer dental consultations with dentists and hygienists every Tuesday and Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. No appointment is necessary. Whether you “just have a quick question,” “want to see what the clinic is like,” or “are curious about the procedures,” we are here to help. Please note: There may be a short wait if you request a full examination, fluoride treatment, or stain removal on the same day.

I am Yuki Kondo, Director of “Sapporo Kodomo no Haishasan” (Sapporo Children’s Dental Clinic) in Chuo-ku, Sapporo. As a specialized pediatric clinic, we focus on care from infancy through the age when permanent teeth are fully present and the child can manage their own oral hygiene.
Our motto is: “Prioritizing the perspectives of both children and parents, providing the care we would want for our own children.”
Beyond being a dentist, I am also a mother of two. I understand the diverse concerns parents face. My philosophy is to stay close to our families through various approaches—taking extra time for counseling, tailoring plans for each family, and offering “no-appointment” hours for infants. I listen sincerely to your lifestyle and concerns to reflect them in our treatment and home-care advice.
I also have a strong commitment to never turning away a child in pain or with an emergency injury. As long as I am in the clinic and time permits, I will provide treatment even without a prior appointment.

Baby Dentistry (Age 0+)
We support “healthy mouth development” from age 0, including advice on nursing, weaning food, and how to hold/play with your baby.

Dental Trauma & Sports Injuries
Our clinic handles a variety of problems, including chipped, broken, loose, and fallen-out teeth. We also make mouthguards to prevent sports injuries, and our Japan Sport Association-certified “sports dentists” provide specialized care.

Sports mouthguard
At our clinic, our director, a Japan Sport Association certified sports dentist, will create a custom-made mouthguard for each individual. These mouthguards fit better and cause less discomfort than commercially available ones, ensuring safety and comfort.

3세부터 어린이 교정

구강 외상 및 스포츠 마우스가드 대응

0~2세 아이들을 위해 매주 화·금요일 10:00~12:00에 치과의사와 치과위생사가 치과 상담을 진행합니다. 별도의 예약은 필요 없습니다. “가볍게 물어보고 싶은 것이 있다”, “병원이 어떤 곳인지 궁금하다”는 보호자분들의 궁금증을 성심껏 해결해 드립니다. (당일 진찰이나 불소 도포, 착색 제거 등을 원하실 경우 대기 시간이 발생할 수 있습니다.)
